President: David Ward

Mr. Ward has more than 28 years experience in groundwater analysis.  His expertise includes: groundwater assessment, water resources, hazardous waste, computer simulation, groundwater remedial action, well test interpretation, geographical information systems (GIS), unsaturated flow and transport, deep injection wells, software development, GPS, stormwater, and technical management.  In August 1999, he incorporated a Earthward Consulting specializing in groundwater and geographical information services.  Previously Mr. Ward has served as Vice President of GeoTrans and GeoTrans Wireless (Sterling, Virginia), Director Technology Applications for Michael Baker (Alexandria, Virginia) and Senior Consultant for Intera Environmental Consultants (Houston, Texas).  He has developed several models for groundwater simulation (SWIFT, FEMWATER/WASTE) and applied these throughout the US to analyze groundwater flow and contaminant migration.  Mr. Ward graduated with a BS Civil Engineering from Lehigh University (Bethlehem, PA) and MS Water Resources from Princeton University (Princeton, NJ).  He has authored numerous articles in technical journals including Groundwater and Water Resources Research and taught several courses on groundwater modeling.
